What began as a personal passion has blossomed into a vibrant global community, united by the irresistible beauty of African textiles and the timeless art of quilting.

My Creative Journey
My journey into the world of textiles began in childhood, with countless forays into the bustling open-air markets of Lagos, Nigeria, alongside my mother.
It was there that a deep love for fabrics and their stories took root.
As an architect by training, I’ve always been drawn to the balance of creativity and construction.
Quilting, with its precision, symmetry, and boundless artistic possibilities, perfectly satisfied this need within me.
In 2017, while running my dressmaking business, I decided to tackle my first quilt after hours of inspiration on Pinterest.
After many months of labor, trial & error, and numerous stops and starts, I finally completed my first ever quilt – a nine-patch crafted from vibrant African wax prints and beautiful pieces of Adire.
The joy of creation, and the wave of interest ignited when I shared it with the online quilting community, was simply electrifying.
Recognizing a desire for high-quality African prints, Quilt Africa Fabrics was born.
What started as a personal passion quickly blossomed into a thriving international hub for quilters, despite the challenges along the way, my vision only grew stronger.
